Our client is a leading provider of information and technology solutions to the global financial community and are looking to recruit a Software Engineer to join their Real Time Development Team.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop original software solutions for next generation real-time trading systems using Borland Delphi and possibly C++. - Provide internal, and occasionally external, customer support for software products, especially in liaison with the software testing department. Collaborate and assist colleagues working within the team environment, both in day to day programming tasks and with design of new functionality.
Essential skills * experience:
- Good degree in a computer, mathematical, scientific or engineering discipline. - At least 1 years experience of working in an intensive software development field. - Experience of applying object-oriented programming techniques. - Practical experience of C++ (although strong candidates with knowledge of other 3GL with desire to cross train to C++ may be considered).
